What data we collect

Data you provide: first and last name, email, phone number and the details needed for your booking, when you book a tour or contact us by form, email or WhatsApp.

Data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, pages visited and browsing data, collected through analytics and marketing cookies only with your prior consent.

Purposes and legal basis

Managing your booking and providing the service — legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Replying to your enquiries — legal basis: legitimate interest or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR).

Complying with tax and administrative obligations — legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Analysing website use and measuring advertising campaigns — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

Who receives the data

Bókun ehf. (Tripadvisor group), as the provider of the online booking system.

Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Analytics 4) and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel), only if you consent to the related cookies.

Technical and administrative service providers acting as processors, and public authorities where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision or by standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep the data

Booking data is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and afterwards for the periods required by tax and civil law (generally up to 6 years).

Data collected through cookies is kept for the duration stated in the cookie policy or until you withdraw consent.

Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, as well as withdraw any consent given.

To do so, write to info@canariasexcursionstours.com attaching a document that allows us to identify you.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) if you believe the processing does not comply with the law.
